In the image, it can be seen that the smartphone has a triple camera setup on its back panel that will have sensors stacked vertically. Furthermore, the top sensor can be seen with a colourful accent around it.
Although it looks like an LED light, some speculative reports have also suggested that it may be a colourful piece of glass. Xiaomi Mi 9 smartphone is expected to sport a 6.4-inch 19:9 FHD+ AMOLED display that will come with a waterdrop shaped notch on top. The waterdrop-shaped notch will house a 24MP selfie camera with the Sony IMX576 sensor. The smartphone is said to come with a design that will be similar to OnePlus 6T and the back panel would be like the one we saw in Huawei P20 Pro. The device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with X24 LTE modem clubbed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. There will reportedly be another model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. The smartphone is expected to come with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
