What is MHL? MHL stands for Mobile High-definition Link, MHL uses a five-pin connection to deliver up to 1080p picture quality, 192khz sound quality, and 7.1 channel surround sound. You can connect your smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices to a TV or a monitor and share the smartphone’s display on it. In short, it is a wired form of Google Chromecast that lets you screencast to a TV with some wires. The plus point here is that since it is a wired connection there is zero latency between the phone and the screen. And that is it, with these items you can screencast to a TV with MHL. Now that you have all the items required it is just time to Plug and Play! Just connect one end of the HDMI cable to the adapter and the other end to the TV. Now connect your smartphone with the MHL adapted using the micro USB or Type-C port on the adapter (depending upon your phone type).
