Samsung Galaxy S22 Series Price and availability details
Samsung did not divulge the prices of the phones in its introduction, but we may expect this information soon. Both Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ will be offered in 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage configurations. Whereas the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will be offered with 8GB RAM with 128GB, 12GB RAM with 256GB, 12GB RAM with 512GB, and 12GB RAM with 1TB storage. All the devices will be released on February 25th.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 boasts a 6.1-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with an adjustable refresh rate of 120Hz that can be reduced to as low as 10Hz. The panel is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus+ and an Armor Aluminium chassis. The device ships Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on top out of the box and is powered by an octa-core 4nm SoC and 8GB of RAM with an internal storage capacity of up to 256GB.
For the optics, the vanilla S22 features a triple rear camera setup. The camera module houses a 50MP primary Dual Pixel wide-angle sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus. Furthermore, there is a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture also offering 120 degrees of FoV and a 10MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture (3x optical zoom and OIS). In addition to this, there is a 10MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture (80 degrees of FoV). Connection choices include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C connector. Apart from an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, there is an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, geomagnetic, gyroscope, hall, and a proximity sensor among the sensors onboard. The Galaxy S22 has a 3,700mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, as well as 15W wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare for reverse wireless charging.

For photography, S22+ is highlighted with a triple rear camera arrangement on the rear consisting of a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera(f/2.2 aperture lens and a 120-degree FoV), 50MP primary Dual Pixel autofocus wide-angle sensor (f/1.8 aperture lens and autofocus)and a 10MP telephoto sensor (f/2.4 aperture, 3x optical zoom and OIS). The 10MP selfie camera on the smartphone has an f/2.2 aperture and 80-degrees of FoV. In terms of connectivity, there is 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C connector. The display panel features upgraded Wacom technology to provide S Pen functionality enhancements like decreased latency. While an S Pen is incorporated into the phone’s body it is said to have 70% less latency than its predecessor. Under the hood, there is an octa-core 4nm SoC with up to 12 GB of RAM along with up to 1TB of internal storage options.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra features a quad rear camera configuration with a 108-megapixel wide-angle sensor (f/1.8 aperture). In addition, the smartphone has a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 10-megapixel telephoto camera (3x optical zoom) and 10-megapixel telephoto camera (10x optical zoom). In the front, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra includes a 40-megapixel camera sensor with an f/2.2 aperture lens. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging at 45W and wireless charging at 15W, as well as Wireless PowerShare for reverse wireless charging.
