However, this is not the only latest report about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphones. A variant of Samsung Galaxy S10+, which is powered by Exynos 9820 processor, has been spotted on Geekbench. It is worth noticing that this model of Samsung Galaxy S10+ scored a marginally higher single and multi-core score than the Snapdragon 855-powered variant of the Galaxy S10+. The Samsung Galaxy S10+ variant that has been spotted on Geekbench comes with model number SM-G975F and we should mention that its benchmarking was first reported by DroidHolic.
Coming back to the US FCC certification, it mentions three models of Samsung Galaxy S10 – SM-G970U (Galaxy S10 E), SM-G973U (Galaxy S10) and the SM-G975U (Galaxy S10+). This means that all the three models that are set to launch this month have passed the connectivity and safety requirements that have been set by the regulatory body and hence, can be launched in the United States. Furthermore, the US FCC certification documents also reveal that the handsets will have support for Bluetooth LE, NFC, and Wi-Fi 6. It has also been revealed that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphones will come with ‘Wireless Power Transfer’, which basically means that the handsets will be able to “receive or transmit an AC power signal through magnetic induction (MI) or magnetic resonance (MR).” In simpler words, the feature is something like the reverse wireless charging that we saw on Huawei Mate 20 Pro. We should mention that this is in-line with previous reports that Samsung Galaxy S10 devices will be able to wirelessly charge other smartphones (provided they have support for wireless charging). Samsung is all set to launch its Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10E smartphones on February 20 this month at an event in San Francisco.
