After postponing the launch of Samsung Galaxy Fold for several months, the company will be re-launching the phone in September. The company has also listed the mobile phone on its official website revealing its design and a few specifications. However, the product page did not reveal the pricing of the phone. Few reports suggest that the current Galaxy Fold is expected to arrive with a price tag of USD 1,980 (approximately Rs 1,40,000) now it planning to launch the cheaper Galaxy Fold device for $1,000 (approximately Rs. 71,600). In order to bring down its price, the company will bring the cheaper variant of the device with 256GB of internal storage along with cheaper design. The upcoming device currently comes with 512GB of internal storage. The cheaper Samsung Galaxy Fold will arrive with a model number SM-F700F. As per the SamMobile report “Whether it’s going to have a clamshell or outfolding form factor and whether it will have support for the S Pen.” It further adds, “Samsung may also choose to go with a different moniker but that’s beside the point. However, it’s the first sign that the company is working on a more affordable foldable smartphone. It will make a significant difference if Samsung is able to bring the price down by a few hundred dollars.” Samsung Galaxy Fold specifications Samsung Galaxy Fold will arrive with a 7.3-inch primary AMOLED Infinity Flex Display and a secondary 4.6-inch screen. The foldable device will be powered by 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage. The smartphone will come with six cameras. The triple rear camera setup includes a 16MP ultra-wide camera, a 12MP wide-angle camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera. On the inside, it has a 10MP selfie camera and an 8MP RGB depth camera, lastly, a 10MP selfie camera on the cover will be seen. It will be housing a 4,380mAh battery along with a face and fingerprint scanner. The company will be launching the Galaxy Fold in four colour options Space Silver, Cosmos Astro Blue, and Martian Green Black colour.
