The company shared the first look of the new colour variant of its Redmi Note 7 smartphone that will be launched in its home market very soon. But Xiaomi has not revealed when it is planning to launch the new colour variant of its Redmi Note 7 series. While flaunting the glossy white finish variant of the Redmi Note 7, the company has asked its fans to guess the name of the new device. In addition to this, whoever guessed the correct name of the colour variant will win a 20-inch Redmi Suitcase, that was launched in China a few months ago. Initially, the new colour model of the Redmi Note 7 series will be launched in China. It is expected that after its launch in the home market, the company will unveil the device soon in other markets including India. The Redmi Note 7 is currently available in three colour options – Onyx Black, Sapphire Blue, and Ruby Red colour. While Redmi Note 7 Pro also comes in three colour variants – Neptune Blue, Nebula Red, and Space Black. The rest of the specification of the Redmi Note 7 series will be same.

Redmi Note 7 Pro features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution display that has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The Xiaomi’s smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie skinned with MIUI 10 on top. The device is powered by an 11nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC and is available 4GB and 6GB RAM variants. While the former is clubbed with 64GB of storage, the latter has or 128GB internal storage. Both can hold a microSD card of up to 256GB. The smartphone houses a 4,000mAh battery that has support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0. On the imaging front, the Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.79 aperture along with a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, it has a 13MP snapper that can be used for selfies and video calls. The device also has a fingerprint sensor on its back panel. Redmi Note 7 specifications The Redmi Note 7 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. The smartphone is available in 3GB RAM/4GB RAM variants and has 32GB/64GB of internal storage. The device can hold a microSD card of up to 256GB. Coming to the camera, the Redmi Note 7 features a dual-rear camera setup that consists of a 12MP primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor. On its front panel, there is a 13MP selfie camera. Rest of the specifications of the Redmi Note 7 are the same as Redmi Note 7 Pro’s.
