Realme was one of the few smartphone manufacturers that first came up with a 64-megapixel camera sensor. Now Realme India CEO, Madhav Sheth, in an interview with an online publisher revealed that the company is developing a 108-megapixel smartphone. However, he did not reveal any other information related to the smartphone. In addition to this, the CEO also confirmed that Realme is also working on a loT devices that will be unveiled earlier next year. He also said that “Realme will enter the smartphone segment in 2020 and make breakthroughs in each segment, which is worth looking forward to.” While on the other hand Realme CEO Li Bingzhong opened up that the company will no longer launch 4G devices in China next year. Instead it will be launching 5G enabled phones in its home market. The company is also preparing to launch its first 5G smartphone that is called Realme X50 5G. The smartphone is likely to debut in January 2020. Recently, the smartphone got approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. The device carries model number of RMX2051 code. It is likely to come with a 6.6-inch LCD display along with dual front-facing cameras. The smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 756G processor supporting dual-mode 5G. The phone is expected to feature Sony’s IMX686 64megapixel lens. However, it is not clear what capacity battery it would house, but is likely to support 30W VOOC 4.0 Flash charge technology.
