In addition to all these, the Android Pie update gets a feature to Moto Z3 smartphone that no other devices in the market have. The update enables Motorola‘s Moto Z3 smartphone to support 5G network. However, we should mention that the device can only do this via a Moto Mod. It is worth noticing that Motorola has built a 5G Moto Mod in collaboration with American chipmaker Qualcomm. Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon X50 modem and millimetre wave components have been used in the Moto Mod that enables 5G network on the Moto Z3.

On adding the 5G Moto Mod, Moto Z3 users will be to enjoy internet speed of up to 5Gbps to 10Gbps. In other words, this means that 4K resolution multimedia content that is 8GB or more in size will be downloaded on the smartphone within seconds. However, it is worth mentioning that as of now, this feature will only be available in the United States and that too for those who have subscribed to Verizon. The Lenovo-owned smartphone maker has tied up with Verizon to provide 5G network to its customers. With 5G, users will be able to live-stream 4K content, use connected home devices, and enjoy AR and VR gaming faster than they ever did before. If you have a Moto Z3, and you have received a notification message for the update, you can follow these steps to install it: After this, your smartphone will take a few minutes to restart, but once it does, it will have the updated software. However, in case you have not as yet received a notification for the Android Pie update, you can follow these steps to install the update manually: Once your device restarts, it will be running Android Pie.
