Huawei Watch Gt runs the company’s Light OS platform and is powered by Cortex-M4 chipset with low power and high power processors. These promise an extended battery life of Huawei’s smartwatch. The company has claimed that Huawei Watch GT’s battery will last 30 days if you only receive notifications – with heart rate tracking and GPS turned off. Otherwise, the battery of the smartwatch will last two weeks which includes heart rate monitoring of low and high intensity, and if your usage is extremely heavy and you use GPS, heart rate sensor and always on screen, the smartwatch will last till 22 hours. Huawei Watch GT is made of 316L stainless steel, has ceramic bezels, features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display and sports and dual crown. The smartwatch is available in two variants — Sport and Classic. Both the variant of Huawei Watch GT come with 5ATM water resistance, which means you can easily take it with you for a swim. The smartwatch also comes with an optical heart rate sensor that uses 6LEDs and comes with Huawei’s TruSeen 3.0 technology which, the company says is very efficient in reading users’ heart rate and gets better by learning over time. Huawei Watch GT has GPS functionality which can be used to track users’ daily activities while being connected to the Health Assistant app. The smartwatch also comes with a built-in altimeter has the ability to track users’ steps and sleep. While Huawei Watch GT Sport is priced at €199, Watch GT classic will bear a price tag of €249.
The company also announced Huawei Band 3 at the event. Priced at €99, the Huawei Band 3 sports a 0.95-inch AMOLED touchscreen and comes with a hear rate sensor and GPS. Much like Huawei Watch GT, the fitness tracker also offers 5ATM water resistance. The company has said that the tracker will last up to 20 days with normal usage.
