Another way to change font style on WhatsApp is by Typing the text you want in a typewriter or monospace font within the three backticks ‘“`’ However, backticks are not available in standard iPhone/Android keyboards so there is a second method iOS users can do. In the text area where you’re composing your message, tap it. Select the text you want in Monospace font by tapping the ‘Select’ option from the pop-up menu bar. If you’re using an iPhone, go to the [B I U] pop-up menu and choose ‘Monospace.’ Alternatively, on an Android phone, pick the ‘three-dots’ icon and then ‘Monospace’.
