According to the first leak by Pricebaba, the leak shows the render of the upcoming smartphone. The render image shows what the Pixel 4 will look like. It can be seen in the renders that there is no rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on the Pixel 4 which means it could be getting the in-screen fingerprint scanner or a side-mounted one. In addition to this, there is no speaker at the bottom of the device but it will have one on the top. The camera placement of the device is similar to the upcoming iPhone 11-series which means that the Pixel 4 will be getting the square-camera cut-out on its back. There is also a possibility that this time, Google will be incorporating more than one cameras on the back of the Pixel 4, which is something that it has not done before. So, cameras will be playing a huge part in the making of Pixel 4 as the cameras were the best selling points of the Google Pixel devices.
If the camera placement of the Pixel 4 will be like what it was shown in the renders, then there might be conflict with the iPhone as it too has the similar square camera placement. Other than that, the Pixel 4 will also reportedly come with a dual-front camera setup placed in a punch-hole display cut-out. Other than that, there will also be a ‘spectral sensor’ on top of the Pixel 4 which was earlier used in Pixel 3. Then there is another rumour which states that Google’s Project Soli which is a motion sensing technology will be incorporated in the Pixel 4 devices. The use of Project Soli’s radar will give the Pixel 4 much better motion-sensing and gesture sensing capabilities. Since it will be the latest smartphone from Google, it will be running the newest Android Q out-of-the-box. Being a Google device, the Pixel 4 will have a better software-hardware integration. But all leaks aside, we will have to wait till October 2019 to find out more about the Pixel 4 and all its features and specifications.
