However, this free credit comes with a number of terms and conditions. As we mentioned earlier, Google Play’s Home tab has a yellow banner that is available only for a few users. On opening this banner, different users will see different deals. For instance, some users will see an offer that reads “$5 to spend on any app or game.” Once you click on it, the offer will be added to your account automatically. For some users, the free credit is available only on purchases above $20, and for other in-app purchases are not included. So, Google will see what you purchase the most and then make an offer accordingly. We personally got a discount on our next movie purchase, since we use the Play Store to save and watch films via Google Play Movies and TV. However, we didn’t see a yellow banner like the ones mentioned in most reports, instead, we saw a red one.
If you want to read the entire disclaimer on your deal, the yellow banner can be used to open a page that has all the conditions and full terms of the deals written in detail. We recommend you to go through this so that you know everything that applies to the offer that you are availing. You’ll also get suggestions for apps or movies where you can use your credit, which Google curates for you on the basis of your interests and activities. You will be able to find the credit in the Accounts section of your Google Play Store. The Accounts section on your Google Play Store can be accessed by pressing on the three-line icon on the Home Page and then scrolling down. Once you go to Accounts, click on the Rewards tab, you’ll see your credit there. Various users on social media are talking about this deal, and we personally got some credit that we can use for buying movies. Do let us know in the comments section if Google offered a deal to you too.
