Powering the Elife E8 is a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X 10 (MT6795) processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The internal storage of the device accounts to 64GB which can be further expanded to 128GB. The smartphone comes equipped with a 23.7-megapixel rear camera with Dual tone LED flash and an 8.0-megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle lens to facilitate video calling. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G, LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and houses a 3,520 mAh battery. The Gionee Elife E8 also consists of a fingerprint sensor on the back for secure locking. The company has priced the device for $644 (Approx. Rs 41,118) and will be available in China from 15th July. The company has also stated that the smartphone will be launched in India in August this year.
