Last month another trade show Mobile World Congress, Facebook’s F8 developer conference, Game developers conference, Microsoft MVP Global Summit also got cancelled due to the rising cases and the list is growing. The spread of Coronavirus has impacted a lot to the tech industry. Google also promised to give a full refund to those who have already purchased the tickets to the event. “All guests who have purchased tickets to I/O 2020 will receive a full refund by March 13, 2020. If you don’t see the credit on your statement by then, please reach out to [email protected] Guests who have registered for I/O 2020 will not need to enter next year’s drawing and will be automatically granted the option of purchasing an I/O 2021 ticket.” In a recent tweet made by Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai to announce that they are releasing free access to their advanced Hangouts Meet video-conferencing capabilities to all G Suite and G Suite for Education customers globally starting this week. This will include larger meetings, for up to 250 participants per call, live streaming for up to 100,000 viewers within a domain and the ability to record meetings and save them to Google Drive. All these features will be available in the Enterprise edition of G Suite and in G Suite Enterprise for Education, and will be available at no additional cost to all customers until July 1, 2020.
